I picked up my first camera, I assume, when I was really young. Some very specific memories come to mind of running around with a drugstore disposable camera, snapping candids of cousins, the foliage, the landscapes.
I was in my early-20’s when I started messing around with DSLR cameras. I quickly learned to love shooting portraits – partly due to my background in stage and film performance. Portraits became an interesting way to capture moments in people’s lives, as well as experiment with various techniques to evoke particular feelings in a shot.
A life-long learner, I hope to continue expanding my skillset with more adventure shoots, urban exploration, and photographic experimentation.
To answer another popular question: yes, I shoot weddings and events, including nightlife.
